The difference between DLP and LCD projector

Because most DLP projectors use a single-chip structure, the optical structure is simple, so it can achieve a smaller volume and lighter weight.  Due to the reflective principle, DLP projectors can achieve higher black and white contrast.  LCD is composed of three colors of light converging into one pixel, while the three colors of single-chip DLP projector are all reflected by the same micromirror to the same pixel, so there is no convergence problem. Therefore, some burrs in the LCD will not appear on the edge of the pixel.  And shadows, so when showing some thin lines and small text, DLP projectors are clearer than LCD projectors, black and white are more pure, and gray levels are richer.                            Theoretically speaking, the biggest advantage of LCD projectors is that the three primary colors of red, green and blue are completed by 3 separate liquid crystal panels. The brightness and contrast of each color can be individually controlled, and the three colors can reach almost at the same time.  The screen, so you can truly reproduce various colors.  The color separation of a single-chip DLP projector is realized by a color separation wheel. The three-color light uses the same micromirror to modulate and reflect, so the three-color light reaches the screen in time sharing.
